Institute for Public Policy Research

The Institute for Public Policy Research is a think tank in the United Kingdom, with close links to the ruling Labour Party. It was founded in 1988 - people involved in its development included Clive Hollick, Lord Eatwell, Tessa Blackstone and James Cornford. The director of the IPPR is Nick Pearce, a former special advisor to the Rt. Hon. David Blunkett MP. Dr Jessica Allen and Jennifer Rankin of the Institute are authors of a chapter in The Future of the NHS (2006) (ISBN 1858113695) edited by Dr Michelle Tempest.
