Interlochen is an unincorporated community within Green Lake Township, Grand Traverse County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The community is noted for the internationally renowned Interlochen Center for the Arts.

The community is situated between Green Lake and Duck Lake, which gives the area its name, meaning literally between the lakes. It is about 14 miles southwest of Traverse City at [44°38′41″N, 85°46′02″W]. The elevation is 841 feet above sea level and the FIPS place code is 40800. The ZIP code is 49643.

U.S. Highway 31 passes about a mile north of the area and Michigan State Highway 137 is a spur running through the community, connecting US 31 with the community and with Interlochen State Park about two miles south.
