IAE International Aero Engines AG is a Zürich-registered joint venture formed in 1983. Current shareholders are:
- Pratt & Whitney of the USA (32.5%)
- Rolls-Royce plc of the UK (32.5%)
- MTU Aero Engines of Germany (23%)
- The Japanese Aero Engines Corporation of Japan (12%)
IAE's sole purpose is the development, production and aftermarket services of the V2500 aero engine family which power the Airbus A319/A320/A321 and McDonnell Douglas MD-90 aircraft.
