International Assault is a professional wrestling tour promoted by World Series Wrestling. The show toured through Melbourne, Sydney and Newcastle in Australia on on three separate dates in the space of a week in 2005, featuring some of the top independent cicuit stars.

2006 Tour

The following is about a scheduled professional wrestling event that is taking place in the future. More information will be added as it becomes available. This event might be influenced by events that are pre-recorded but have not yet aired. In the interest of maintaining kayfabe, please do not add any information that has not been aired to the public yet on official media such as organization television programs or websites.

World Series Wrestling management is currently involved in internal discussions over a planned International Assault 2 for 2006. WSW would like to hear fans feedback as to what wrestlers from the last tour they would like to see return, what new stars they would like to see tour, possible matches and cities that should be toured.

Jeff Jarrett is a near certainty to tour because he is the promotion's champion. Low Ki has also expressed interest in touring Australia in the near future, possibly on this tour.

Trivia

Mick Foley, Matt Hardy and James Gibson were scheduled to appear on the tour but both never showed up. Fans were particularly upset at Foley who has continuously said he has never missed a booking in his life.
Rhino celebrated his 30th birthday at the Sydney show.
