International Launch Services (or ILS) is a private spaceflight partnership formed in 1995 between American defense contractor Lockheed Martin, and the Russian firm, Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Center, and RSC Energia for the purpose of co-marketing their respective rocket launch services. This agreement covers non-military launches, and in the case of military launches, Khrunichev coordinates directly with the Russian government, while Lockheed works through its United Launch Alliance partnership with Boeing.

The principal rockets on offer are the Russian Proton and the Lockheed Martin Atlas V.

With the Atlas V launch of the SES Astra 1KR satellite on April 20, 2006, ILS has made 100 launches, 97 of which were successful. [link]
