Irpin

Irpin (Ukrainian: Ірпiнь, translit. Irpin’) is a city located on the Irpin River in the Kiev Oblast of central Ukraine. The city itself is designated as a separate raion (district) within the oblast.
The current estimated population is around 40,000 (as of 2005).
A railway station called Irpin was built in 1899. In 1956 Irpin received city status.
