Isshinata

Isshinata is the name of a manga character from Nobuhiro Watsuki's first published work, Crescent Moon in the Warring States, which does incidentally take place in the same storyline as the events of Rurouni Kenshin. He starts off as a cowardly youngster taken from his home by the legendary swordsman, Hiko Seijuro. Eventually, Isshinata joins Seijuro in the effort to change the country as Seijuro's lieutenant.
