Izena (伊是名村; -son) is a village occupying Izena island in the north of Okinawa, Japan (though administered as part of Shimajiri district).
Its primary claim to fame is that it was the birthplace of King Sho-en (尚円王), the first king of the second Ryukyu dynasty. It is also the birthplace of the contemporary artist Naka Bokunen (名嘉睦稔).
As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 1,858 and the density of 120.49 persons per km². The total area is 15.42 km².
