J.E.B. Stuart High School is a secondary school in Fairfax County, Virginia named after the famous confederate cavalry leader J.E.B. Stuart. The school is part of the Fairfax County Public Schools district. The school has a Falls Church address but is not located within the City of Falls Church.
The school has been featured in National Geographic magazine [link], and has received national recognition by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the International Baccalaureatte program. President George W. Bush chose to speak there about education during the 2004-2005 school year. The principal of the school, Mel Riddile, recently was chosen as the principal of the year by the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
Riddile has recently announced he would be moving to T.C. Williams High School in neighboring Alexandria City
