J.R. Russo

Jeoseph "J. R" Russo is an Italian-American mobster and hitman from East Boston, Massachusetts. Russo was the hitman sent to kill mob assassin turned informant Joe "The Animal" Barboza, in California during the 1960s. It is believed that Uncle Jr. from the HBO television show "The Soprano's" is based on Russo.
