Jacaltenango

Jacaltenango is a small town in Huehuet enango, Guatemala, located at a valley surrounded by the Sierra Madre Mountains. Its population is about 20,000 people (a third of which is indigenous), and its economy its based mainly in agricultural products, especially coffee. Jacaltenango exports about 95% of its agricultural production. Jacaltenango has six schools: three elementary and three high schools, which include middle school.
