Jacek Krzynówek, (born May 15 1976), is a Polish International footballer who until June 30 2006 is under contract with Bayer Leverkusen in Germany. However, on May 18 it was announced that Krzynówek was going to Wolfsburg in the upcoming season following coach Klaus Augenthaler for the third time after having already worked with the former German international at Nürnberg and Leverkusen. He has been capped many times by his nation. One of his most famous moments is scoring a rocket shot against Real Madrid in the 2004/2005 UEFA Champions League.
Krzynówek has appeared 61 times and scored nine goals for Poland. He was selected to the 23-men squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals in Germany, and is a starting midfielder.
