Jack Ford is currently the co-anchor of "Courtside", the afternoon program on Court TV, alongside Ashleigh Banfield.

Biography

Ford was raised by a single parent in New Jersey. He attended Yale University, and later, the Fordham University School of Law.

After law school, Ford became a prosecutor in New Jersey for three years, before beginning his own private practice as a lawyer. He also served as an adjunct professor of law at the Fordham Law School.

He became the legal commentator for WCBS-TV in 1984, and joined Court TV upon its launch in 1991. He joined NBC News in 1994 as the chief legal correspondent. While at NBC, he served as the co-anchor for Weekend Today with Jodi Applegate from 1996 to 1999 and with Soledad O'Brien in 1999. That year, Ford joined ABC and became a correspondent for 20/20 and Good Morning America. He hosted ESPN's The Sports Reporters from 2002 to 2003 and was the co-host of the short-lived syndicated talk show Living It Up! With Ali & Jack with Ali Wentworth.

He has received two Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, an American Radio and Television Award, a National Headliner Award, and the March of Dimes FDR Award.

Ford resides in Spring Lake, New Jersey with his wife and two children.
