- This article is about the country-western singer. For the race car driver, see Jack Ingram (NASCAR).
In 2005, Ingram signed to the independent record label Big Machine Records (an imprint of Showdog Nashville, formerly owned by Toby Keith). Under the Big Machine banner, Ingram released his latest record, a predominantly live album entitled Live - Wherever You Are.
His first release on that record label - "Wherever You Are" - became Jack's first top 40, and later his #1 hit after 32 weeks on the Billboard Country singles chart. His followup single, "Love You", is currently climbing the charts.
Ingram's chart-topping success has led to a higher profile touring schedule. In 2006, he is set to support superstar country duo Brooks & Dunn as well as country-rock crossover artist Sheryl Crow.
