Jacksons International Airport , also known as Port Moresby Airport, it is located 5 miles (8 kilometres) outside Port Moresby, in Papua New Guinea. It is the largest and busiest airport in Papua New Guinea and is the main base for Air Niugini, the national airline of Papua New Guinea.

Services

Air Niugini operates services in and around Papua New Guinea using Fokker 50 turboprop and Fokker 28 Mk.4000 jet aircraft as well as Fokker 100 jet aircraft. It also uses the 100 on international services to Cairns in Australia and it operates a Boeing 767-300 to Singapore, Manila and Brisbane. Previously Air Niugini planes have been seen at Hong Kong and Tokyo. Other inter island services are also operated by other operators.

Cathay Pacific also used to operate flights to Auckland, New Zealand via Port Moresby, but these were terminated.
