Jackup barge

Jackup barge is a kind of vessel or ship which may stand still on the sea floor by three supporting columns at least or four supporting columns. The supporting columns can be moved up and down by hydraulic system usually. In addition, the whole barge can be jacked up when the supporting column touching the sea floor or suported by sea floor. The whole barge is acted as a kind of platform. People may work on the platform as they like, for example, drilling for the fossil oil.
