Jacona

Jacona is a small city in northwestern Michoacán, Mexico. It is adjacent to the larger city of Zamora and is known for its Roman Catholic seminary.

Jacona is a chichimeca word that means "place of vegetables". Another meaning comes from Xucunan, "place of flowers and vegetables".
