Jadwiga Jagiellon

Jadwiga Jagiellon (1457-1502) - was the eldest daughter of Polish King Casimir IV Jagiellon and Elisabeth of Austria.

In 1475 she married Bavarian Duke George of Bavaria in Landshut, which started the tradition of the famous medieval pageant Wedding of Landshut.

Genetics

Jadwiga is a matrilineal descendant of Elisabeth of Austria. Provided the genealogy is accurate, this implies that she and all her matrilineal relatives are members of mitochondrial haplogroup Haplogroup T.
