Personal Facts on The Life Dr. James B. Edwards As Dictated By His Granddaughter

There are six of us Grandchildren. From eldest to youngest we are M, B, A, J, C, and H . James B. Edwards Jr (The former governor's son)is the father of A, J,and H, while M, B, and C's mother is Cathy Wingate (the former governor's daughter). You might have heard the name "Wingate" mentioned before when it comes to politics. That's because my uncle (Ken Wingate) ran for governor and then senator. Sadly he didn't get the office.

My grandfather is now semi-retired. He still works for MUSC on the Fundraising Committee, along with various other jobs he can't seem to put down. The former governor is still married to Ann Darlington Edwards (who is also semi-retired). They still live in Charleston, SC.
