He learns: how they grow, how they attain superior performance, and how good companies can become great companies. The author of the national bestsellers has written several management books, including Good to Great and Built to Last.

A former teacher at Stanford University, Jim Collins also works as a researcher. He frequently contributes to Harvard Business Review and other magazines, journals, etc.
