James LeGros

-->James LeGros (born April 27, 1962) is a film and television actor. He is best known as an indie-movie star - a lord of the underground cinema - and contributed a good chunk of diversified work in the early to mid 90's. Starring in such films as 'Guncrazy' and 'Floundering' gave him a non-hollywood/genuine appeal to viewers as his characters were often very cerebral, frantic and borderline neurotic. One of his most renowned roles was seen in 'Living In Oblivion'(directed by Tom DiCillo, also starring Steve Buscemi and Catherine Keener) where he played Chad Palomino; a male acting diva with endless 'a-list' star demands for a 'b-movie' director and crew. He is currently working on some television projects, landing a permanent spot on Showtime's Sleeper Cell (as Special Agent Ray Fuller) and a few appearances on 'Law and Order'. Those who know and respect his work, though, acclaim his independent film career most as his characters continually pushed the limits of the character but also showed enough relatable traits of the average everyday joe to remind the viewer of a friend or someone close who would react in the same manner.
