Hayashio was a Kagero-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
On 24 November 1942, Hayashio was attacked by U.S. Army Air Forces bombers. After removing survivors, she was scuttled with a torpedo, in Guna Bay, Huon Gulf ().
