Michishio was a Asashio-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. Her name means "Flood (Tide Running Full)".
On 25 October 1944, Michishio escorted the Southern Force commanded by Admiral Nishimura Shoji into the Battle of Surigao Strait. After being crippled by a torpedo from USS McDermut (DD-677), Michishio was finished off by torpedoes from USS Hutchins (DD-476) in Surigao Strait ().
