Oyashio was a Kagero-class destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy. She was named for the Oyashio Current, or "Cold Current".

On 8 May 1943, Oyashio led a troop transport run to Kolombangara. While leaving Vila (Kolombangara), she was disabled by a mine, then suffered further damage in air attacks due to a direct bomb hit, near-misses and strafing. She finally sank southwest of Kolombangara ([08°08′S 156°55′E]).
