Jason Wiemer

Jason Wiemer (born 14 April, 1976 in Kimberley, British Columbia) is a Canadian ice hockey centreman who currently plays for the New Jersey Devils of the NHL.

Wiemer was drafted 8th overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He has played 726 career NHL games, scoring 90 goals and 112 assists for 202 points. He has also compiled 1,420 penalty minutes.

On March 9, 2006, Wiemer was traded from the Calgary Flames to the Devils for fourth round pick in the 2006 NHL entry draft.
