Jawan

The word jawan as an adjective may refer to a young man in Urdu, and many North Indian languages which mostly derived from Sanskrit, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi and other languages. However, it is also used as a noun for a soldier of the Indian Army or the Pakistani army. It is used in much the same meaning as a troop or marine is in English.
