Jayse Castillo (born Jaycey Harper July 26, 1986 in Lisbon, Portugal), is a Portugeuse professional wrestler, actor, singer and former Go-Karting champion. He is currently employed by WWE, working in a backstage capacity while rehabilitating from a recent illness.

Go-Karting Career

Castillo went undefeated in go-karting races, winning several championships worldwide, until a career ending accident in 2003, when he broke both legs in England.

Acting Career

Castillo has appeared as an extra in several television shows and adverts including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Charmed.

Wrestling Career

Castillo started his wrestling career in a backyard federation called Phoenix Championship Wrestling (PXCW) under the name Arachnid, where he became their main champion and one half of their tag team champions with his kayfabe brother Danny Intex. He held both titles from the promotions debut show in 1999 until their closure in 2003 when he announced his retirement after suffering 2 broken legs in a go-karting race in England.

In 2006 he returned to wrestling using the name Jason Phoenix in reference to his previous success, (and on occasion the alter-egos ? (a masked persona) and The Claw) and has began training for his debut in Ohio Valley Wrestling.

Castillo has also recently stated that PXCW may return with a weekly TV show (in England and America) in the early part of next year if the former members of the roster are available (the most important members being his biological mother, kayfabe brother, his kayfabe brothers biological brother and the tag team Kirium & Omega who are currently residing in Asia)

Castillo is currently employed by WWE to work in a backstage capacity so he can learn more about the business while training and reabillitating from his recent illness. He is scheduled to return to in-ring action by October.
