Jeannie Marie Paterson is a Senior Lecturer in Contract Law at Monash University, Clayton, Victoria , Australia. She holds a PhD in Contract Law and has had extensive experience in banking and finance law at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, a top-tier Australian law firm.

She has co-written 2 major Australian textbooks:
