Irving "Jeff" Morrow was born on January 13, 1907 in New York City, New York. Jeff, as he became known, developed an interest in theatre as a result of his studies at art school.
Acting Career
As "Irving Morrow" he acted on stage (in Pennsylvania) as early as 1927. He later appeared in such plays as Penal Law, Once in a Lifetime, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth. Morrow has acted opposite stars such as Katharine Cornell, Maurice Evans, Katharine Hepburn, Luise Rainer and Mae West.
His film career commenced with the Biblical epic The Robe in 1953 and continued into the '70s with many movies and guest roles on television series, such as the Bonanza, Perry Mason, Police Story, and ended in 1986 with an appearance on second The Twilight Zone series.
Later Years
In his latter years, he worked as a commercial illustrator while taking occasional acting assignments. Jeff Morrow died on December 26, 1993 in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California.
