Jenico Nicholas Dudley Preston, 17th Viscount Gormanston (born 19 November, 1939) is a Roman Catholic Anglo-Irish aristocrat and is the premier Viscount of Ireland. He attended the Benedictine academy at Downside Abbey.
Heritage
The title of Viscount Gormanston was created in the Peerage of Ireland in 1478, and is the senior Viscount of Ireland, as well as the bearer of the oldest vicomital title in Britain or Ireland. He succeeded to the Viscountcy in 1940.The Viscount holds the subsidiary titles of Baron Gormanston (1370) and Baron Loundres (1478) in the Peerage of Ireland and Baron Gormanston (1868) in the Peerage of the United Kingdom.
Marriages
He has been married twice:- 1) Eva Antonie Landzianowska (1974- widowed 1984); (two sons)
- 2) Lucy Fox, the daughter of the actor Edward Fox and his first wife, the actress Tracy Reed.
