Jenn Sterger is from Lutz, Florida in northern Hillsborough County, Florida and graduated from Gaither High School. Jenn attended the University of South Florida but transferred in 2004 to Florida State University where she has a GPA of 3.75 majoring in psychology as well as criminology. She is of Czech and Yugoslavian descent.

Jenn's brief two-second shot on national television turned her into a phenomenon. After she and two friends, Danae Sims and Fabiola Romero, were featured in a bleacher shot of a Florida State-Miami football game on 5 September 2005, announcer Brent Musburger commented that “15,000 young red-blooded American men just signed up to go to Florida State next semester.”

Some of those young men found her in bikini photos on the social network site Facebook, sent the link to friends, and Sterger was soon the online embodiment of the [[wiktionary:concupiscent|concupiscent]] co-ed. Sterger has embraced her fame, as she has appeared in Maxim (March 2006) and has appeared semi-nude (topless) in Playboy (May 2006). When asked if she would ever pose fully nude, Jenn's reply "Would I do full nude?.. I dunno. It's definitely not a priority right now.. but.. never say never. Bob Barker says it best when he says... If the price is right!...". After contributing two articles to Sports Illustrated [link] [link] , she now has a regular Wednesday feature on SI.com's Scorecard Daily.

Sterger has been nicknamed the "Facebook Princess" and is one of the FSU Cowgirls who are known for their [[wiktionary:sartorial|sartorial]] combinations of minimalist tops, short shorts, and cowboy hats. Sterger's friends Chrystal Durnan and Fabiola Romero appear in many of her photos.
