- A nickname for males and females. Most commonly used as a diminutive form of male names Gerald, Gerard, Jeremiah, Jeremy, Jerome and female name Geraldine. When used for names beginning with 'G', the nickname is sometimes spelled 'Gerry'.
- Jerry Springer and his TV show are often referred to simply as Jerry
- Jerry Seinfeld and his TV show are often referred to simply as Jerry, and an episode of the show (Seinfeld) was a storyline where he had a pilot called "Jerry"
- A cartoon mouse in Tom and Jerry
