The Jewish Virtual Library, is an online encyclopedia which includes about 10,000 articles and 5,000 photographs and maps and deals primarily with Jewish history, Israel, U.S.-Israel relations, the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and Judaism. The site has 13 sections comprising of:

The Encyclopedia also included a chronicle of the state of the Jewish population in every country where they exist in significant numbers. There is also a desciption of the state of relations between Israel and almost every other consequential nation in the world.
The Jewish Virtual Library is a project of the American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise (AICE) a nonprofit 501(c)(3), nonpartisan organization established "to strengthen the U.S.-Israel relationship by emphasizing the fundamentals of the alliance." The Executive Director is Mitchell G. Bard.
