Jim French is an American photographer and founder of the Colt line of male erotica.
French worked under the name Rip Colt in his early career. He began photographing male erotica in the 1960s, and his first published book, Man, was in 1972.
Other books include Opus Deorum, Masc., and The Art of the Male Nude.
