Jim Matheos is the lead guitarist for the progressive metal band Fates Warning.

Additionally, Jim plays in OSI (described as a 'project with band aspirations') alongside Kevin Moore (Chroma Key, ex-Dream Theater), who handles keyboards, programming, and vocals.

OSI has also worked with Steven Wilson (No-Man/Porcupine Tree) and Mike Portnoy (the virtuoso drummer for Dream Theater), and produced two albums ('OSI' and 'Free') for the respected German progressive rock label, Inside Out.
