Jim McCarty (born James McCarty, 25 July, 1943, Liverpool, England) is an English musician, best known as the drummer for The Yardbirds and Renaissance. He has also played in the bands Shoot (on lead vocals), Illusion (with three other ex-members of Renaissance), Stairway and Pilgrim.
