Jima of Silla
Encyclopedia : J : JI : JIM : Jima of Silla
Jima of Silla (d. 134, r. 112-134), often known by his title Jima Isageum, was the sixth ruler of the ancient Korean kingdom of Silla. He was the son of the previous king, Pasa Isageum.
Relations with Baekje were peaceful during his reign, with the continuation of a truce established by Jima's predecessor Pasa. Relations with neighboring Gaya confederacy were also peaceful, after Jima's unsuccessful invasion attempts in 115 and 116. However, the later years of Jima's reign saw repeated incursions from the Japanese kingdom of Wa and the northern Malgal.
