Jimboroni

Jimboroni is the online pseudonym often used by cartoonist and author Jim Hysell on websites such as DeviantART. The name "Jimboroni" is derived from the name Jimbo or Jimbob. Jim was originally referred to as Jimboroni by his brother, Brian Hysell. At some point afterward Jim began posting artwork on the internet under that name.
Jim, referring to himself as Jimbo, made his first appearance on the web with his personal site The Sketchpad, exhibiting various cartoons made in his spare time as well as during class.
Jim's most significant online presence is currently his DeviantART userpage. It has gained him significant exposure for his artwork, reaching 3000 views by August of 2005. It has had over 3,800 views as of December, 2005. It is home to many of his more recent works, including comics, newspaper columns, photo manipulations, and his first Flash cartoon, 3000 Hits: Animat'd!
Series of comics published by Jim include The Best Years and Plunketteers. He has also drawn a series of satirical cartoons entitled Stuff You Need. His current focus is directed towards Flash animation.
Jim's published written works include several columns of Duluth High School's The Catalyst and more recently Mercer University's The Cluster.
