Jindalee is a suburb of Brisbane's west in south-east Queensland, Australia.
It is bordered by the Brisbane River to the north and west, by the Centenary Highway to the east and Mount Ommaney to the south.
The people of Jinadalee are represented in the Queensland Parliament by Julie Attwood the ALP Member for Mount Ommaney.
Originally encompassing a far larger area than it does today, in the 1970s it was split into six suburbs due to increased development: Jindalee, Mount Ommaney. Queensland, Jamboree Heights, Middle Park, Westlake and Riverhills, all of them sharing the postcode of 4074.
In 1967, Jindalee played host to the 8th Australian Boy Scout Jamboree, an event that took place in what is now Jamboree Heights.
Two schools reside in the suburb: Jindalee State School (primary education) and Centenary State High School (secondary education).
The Jindalee Jaguars Junior Australian Football Club plays home games at the Jindalee Recreation Reserve, and the Centenary Stormers Soccer Club used to play at the Darra Jindalee Church Fields, until they moved to Darra.
The Aboriginal meaning for Jindalee is "bare hills".
