Jinenkan

Jinenkan (in Japanese 自然舘) means "Hall of Nature", reflecting an emphasis on natural movements and the strength found in nature and the environment. The schools, styles, and traditions incorporated into Jinenkan date back hundreds of years, and are Kobudo (古武道), "Old Style" martial arts.

Jinenkan is one of three organizations teaching Takamatsu-den martial arts (see X-kan). The incumbent headmaster is Unsui (Fumio) Manaka . The Jinenkan teaches taijutsu, bikenjutsu, bojutsu, sojutsu, naginatajutsu, tantojutsu, tessenjutsu, juttejutsu, kusarigama, and more. All training are done strictly accordingly to the Densho

History

The Jinenkan was founded in 1996 by Fumio Manaka, then a senior student of Masaaki Hatsumi.

Ranking

The current series of ranks in the Jinenkan are:

Unsui Manaka allows authorized Dojo-cho's (instructors) to have their own ranking system below San kyu (third kyu) e.g 6,5,4 kyu grades.
