Jinka

Jinka is a market town in southern Ethiopia. Located on the Tama Plains in the Debub Omo Zone of the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region, this town has a latitude and longitude of .
Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Jinka has an estimated total population of 23,475 of whom 11,774 were males and 10,701 were females.[CSA 2005 National Statistics], Table B.4 It is the largest settlement in Bako Gazer woreda.
Jinka is home to a museum and an airstrip (IATA code BCO). The Mago National Park, 40 kilometers south by unpaved road, is a nearby attraction.
