Joda

Joda is a city and a municipality in Kendujhar district in the Indian state of Orissa.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Joda had a population of 38,671. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Joda has an average literacy rate of 54%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 43%. In Joda, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
