Joe Bennett (real name Benedito José Nascimento born February 03 1968 in Belém) is a Brazilian comic book artist.
His first big work was Ravage 2099 for Marvel Comics in 1994. Since then he has worked on several Marvel's titles such as: Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America v.2, Fantastic Four v.3, The Incredible Hulk v.2, Thor and most recently Captain America & the Falcon.
Bennett has also worked for other major publishers as Chaos!, CrossGen, Dark Horse, DC Comics and Vertigo.
In 2004-05 he worked on DC's Hawkman v.4.
Other credits include: Conan, Doc Samson, Elektra v.2, Hawkeye v.2, Nova v.3, X-51: Machine Man, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Birds of Prey, Green Hornet, Mark of Charon and Supreme.
In 2005 he signed a three year contract to work exclusively for DC Comics. Bennett is currently working on 52.
