John B. McCoy was Chairman from November 1999 and Chief Executive Officer from October 1998 of BANK ONE CORPORATION (commercial and consumer bank) until his retirement in December 1999, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its predecessor, BANC ONE CORPORATION, from 1987 to 1998. Mr. McCoy has been a Director of SBC since October 1999. He served as a Director of Ameritech Corporation from 1991 until the company was acquired by SBC in 1999. He is a Director of Cardinal Health, Inc.; ChoicePoint Inc.; and Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation.
