John Brockman is a literary agent specializing in scientific literature. He was born and brought up in Boston. He also founded the online salon Edge Foundation [link], the purpose of which is to bring together people working at the edge of a broad range of scientific and technical fields, and have them ask each other the questions they are asking themselves.
