John Duttine

John Duttine (born 15 March 1949 in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England) is an actor noted for his roles on stage, films and television.
His first big break came when he played John in the 1977 television mini-series Jesus of Nazareth. He then played lead roles in major BBC adaptations such as Wuthering Heights (as Earnshaw) in 1978, To Serve Them All My Days in 1980 and The Day of the Triffids in 1981. He was also the star of the sitcom Lame Ducks in 1984.
Film roles include: Who Dares Wins and The Hawk.
More recent TV credits include: Taggart, Dangerfield, Midsomer Murders, Peak Practice, The Bill, Casualty, EastEnders, Dalziel and Pascoe and Heartbeat.
