Johnny Rockets is an American burger restaurant franchise. However, unlike many fast food chains, it uses the waiter/waitress system, and all orders are made-to-order. Menu items include hamburgers, shakes, sandwiches, malts and breakfast. It was founded on June 6, 1986 by Ronn Teitelbaum of Los Angeles, California.
Decoration & Style
Johnny Rockets' decor is designed to recall American malt shops of the 1940s and 1950s and features jukeboxes, chrome accents and red leather seats. The staff wear white outfits styled like those worn by diner waitstaff of the period. There is also dancing and singing along with twirling straws and making smiley faces of ketchup.
Canada/Kuwait
Johnny Rockets opened in Canada in 2005 with stores at Vaughan Mills shopping centre in Vaughan, Ontario and at the Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario. and has 3 stores in Kuwait located at Marina Mall, Salhiyah Complex and Salmiya.
