Maria Jolina Perez Magdangal, or more commonly known simply as Jolina Magdangal or Jolens , born November 6, 1978, is a popular singer, actress and television host from the Philippines.

Magdangal accomplishments speak for themselves. She is the only artist and celebrity of her time to have accumulated an unprecedented number of awards from the academic, civic, government and entertainment sectors. She is very selective in the movies she makes but these are proven to be consistent box office hits. JOLINA is one of the very few showbiz personalities who has maintained her clean and wholesome image. Her bankability as a record artist remains unquestionable because of the multi-platinum record awards she has received. Her television programs never fail to obtain high ratings and attract advertisers. In fact, she herself is an effective commercial model and product endorser. Also an entrepreneur by heart, she established and saw the expansion of her Jolina's Fashion Galleryshops in the country and overseas. At a young age, she has successfully filled up large concert venues nationwide, in the United States, Australia, Canada and Asia. Her very successful JOLINA MANIA concert at the Araneta Coliseum has proven once again her immense popularity and credibility as a concert artist in the Philippines. She also climbed several notches higher than her showbiz contemporaries when she was assigned to host “The Working President”, a weekly newsmagazine TV program of the Philippine president. She continues to be the youth role model as she relentlessly pursues humanitarian and civic endeavors for the youth and the less fortunate.

So goes the saying “when it rains, it pours”. These accomplishments spawn more opportunities and further success as offers pour like rain right on her lap. She will resume doing films this year. More concerts nationwide and overseas and regular programs on primetime television are also underway.

JOLINA MAGDANGAL was able to establish herself firmly as a multi-media artist. She remains to be a very influential force to a wide market and an institution in the country’s entertainment industry. She has become a household name that will be etched in the consciousness of many Filipinos for a long time.
