José-María Celorio

José-María "Chema" Celorio (died 8 November 2003), was a Mexican programmer.
He mostly worked on the GNOME project, where he was one of the creators of the gedit text editor, and also made large contributions to gnome-print, Gnome System Tools, Gnumeric, and Glade. From 2000 until his death in a skydiving accident in 2003, he worked at Ximian, first as manager of the Mexican office and the Ximian Setup Tools project, then as Sales Manager for Europe in Ximian's Boston, Massachusetts headquarters. He was noted for his seemingly boundless enthusiasm, and his desire to bring new contributors into the GNOME project.
