Juan Manuel Peña

Juan Manuel Peña Montaño (born January 17, 1973 in Santa Cruz) is a football defender from Bolivia. He has played around 70 international matches for the Bolivia national team, including an appearance in the 1994 FIFA World Cup.
He played for Blooming FC in Bolivia and Independiente Santa Fé in Colombia before moving to Spain. He was a solid player for Real Valladolid for many years, but when they were relegated from the Primera División Peña found himself a new team. During his first season at Villarreal CF he even scored a goal.
